DPA 4061 CORE+ Omni Mic, Loud SPL

4061 Miniature Omnidirectional Microphone, High SPL

The 4061 CORE+ is acoustically identical to the 4060 CORE+ Miniature Omnidirectional Microphone (Normal SPL) but has an adjusted sensitivity to handle higher sound pressure levels. It can manage SPL up to 144 dB peak before clipping, making it ideal for very loud sources such as certain instruments and powerful vocals.

This microphone is approximately 10 dB less sensitive than the 4060, making it perfect for hidden applications, such as mounting on the head or forehead of theater performers, where sound levels are around 10 dB louder than chest placement (lapel mics).

Available in four colors: black, brown, beige, and white. A heavy-duty version is also available for more robust use.
