Here's a new product that debuted at the NAMM Show that is a
must have
for singers. It's called
Microphome,
and it's a professional mic cleaning foam. Founder Thomas McCoy created the
product out of necessity.
An artist first, explains McCoy, "I host a "Blues Jam" and all the musicians
would come and sing (slobber) over my microphone." He then set out to find a
product that would clean it effectively and found none on the market. Working
with a Biotech company, he then developed this product, and the response has
been tremendous. At NAMM, McCoy showed me how it works, and since then,
I've cleaned all of my microphones with it. Simple to use, you put a small
amount of foam in the palm of your hand, hold the mic upside down, and clean.
