The Rycote Miniscreen is designed to provide excellent wind protection for microphones mounted on cameras. The Rycote Miniscreen is a black, slip-on fabric/mesh windshields that has a universal (19-25 mm) mounting disk at one end, and an open cell acoustic foam front support disk, making them suitable for most onboard camera microphones, and also a wide range of external shotgun microphones. The Miniscreen Windjammer for the Miniscreen is manufactured from short black 10 mm fur and is elasticated at one end for easy fitting. They provide an additional 3bB of wind noise attenuation on top of the Miniscreen. •Suitable for microphones 19-25 mm (0.75-1.00”) in diameter •Wind-noise attenuation of up to 20 dB (plus 23 dB with Windjammer) •55 mm (2.16”) diameter •4 different lengths: 10 cm, 12 cm, 14 cm and 18 cm •Approx. Weight: 51g (1.8 oz) The Miniscreen is a hollow shell push-on windscreen. Its unique construction and low profile make it ideal for use with camera microphones. Lengths in centimeters refers to the internal blind hole into which the microphone is pushed. Proper fit requires that the Miniscreen covers all of the slots along the length of the microphone.
