Coaches, theater or lighting directors, tour operators, anyone who needs to communicate to a group on a secure channel will appreciate how easy it is to use the PortaCom Pro. Just plug the headset into the lightweight belt pack, select a channel, turn it on, and start talking into the adjustable mic. The listener on the other end likewise just plugs in their headset, turns on the belt pack, dials in the same channel and can listen or talk. An unlimited number of headsets can be added to the initial pair. The 16 user selectable channels means you can set up 15 separate groups. For example, the football coach would set up different channels for offense, defense and a spotter in the stands. The head coach just uses the dial on the belt pack to switch between groups. Exclusive to PortaCom Pro is the All Call feature which brings all of the groups on all of the channels together for a priority call. In our example above, the head coach uses All Call to talk to everyone on the team at once. Anchor’s patent pending Omni Point Expandable Network (OPEN) allows an unlimited number of users to share the system simultaneously without the need for expensive base station repeaters of active antennae. This means the PortaCom Pro is fully portable and will work anywhere in the world given its 2.4GHz range. There is no need to worry about unwanted eavesdropping because the PortaCom Pro comes complete with user selectable encryption (USE).
