NBC 9-3-12 Digital Fast Charger
The NBC 9-3-12 Digital
Fast Charger is designed to simultaneously charge
and store up to twelve COMTEK 216 or 75 series
receivers and / or transmitters. The charger will
charge 3 volt (two AA size batteries) or 9 volt
nickel-metal hydride (Ni-HM) batteries. The charger
will automatically select the charging mode for the
type of battery being used. It is also equipped with
a self-diagnostic capability to identify faulty
batteries and to ensure safe operation.
Nickel-metal hydride batteries can be recharged
hundreds of times without generating a significant
loss of power capacity or battery memory problems.
An analog-to-digital voltage slope detector
determines charge completion. If units are used only
for a short time, the batteries will automatically
receive a short "top-off" charge. When batteries
reach a fully charged state, the NBC 9-3-12 charger
will indefinitely maintain the batteries in a fully
charged state of readiness until units are to be
used. |

TM-10
The TM-10 conference table microphone adapter adds a
whole new dimension to the versatile AT-216 personal
assistive listening system. Simply inserting the
clip-on lapel microphone included with the AT-216
into the TM-10 transforms the microphone into a
table-top conference microphone, adding even more
functionality to the system.
This adapter allows the microphone to function as an
acoustically tailored "boundry-type" microphone by
using the reflective surface of a table or desk as
the boundary area that the microphone picks up. This
allows the user to hear everyone sitting around the
table, eliminating the need to pass around a
microphone.
The TM-10 has been specially designed to maximize
the high fidelity performance of the AT-216 by
emphasizing the frequencies that enhance speech
clarity. |

UMC16 Multi-Coupler
The UMC16 multi-coupler combines ceramic filtering
with low noise, high intercept point RF distribution
to provide outstanding performance and flexibility.
Up to eight diversity receivers or up to 16
non-diversity receivers can be utilized in up to a
50MHz passband.
The UMC16 can be powered by 110V AC for stage,
studio or installed system applications, or from DC
power for field operation. |

Sixpack Six-channel Receiver Multi-coupler
The Sixpack multi-coupler combines
antenna and power distribution for up to six
wireless microphone receivers to simplify cabling
and antenna systems on production sound carts. The
most common application is for on-location recording
in motion picture and television production.
High performance RF multi-couplers with ceramic
resonator filtering and high current RF amplifiers
preserve the performance of the finest receivers.
Each multi-coupler provides six 50 ohm outputs from
a single antenna input through a high quality RF
splitter. The splitter design permits one or more
outputs to be left open (no receiver, no dummy load)
without any negative effect on the other outputs. |

VHF / UHF Multi-couplers
The RDM4, SDM4,
SDM4D, UMC190 and UMC200D systems are high quality,
multi-channel wireless microphone systems designed
for sound stage, studio, and theater applications.
Multi-channel problems such as interaction of
receivers, intermodulation and desensitization, etc.
have been eliminated through creative engineering
and superior design. The integral RF/Power
distribution module provides convenience of
operation from a common antenna system and power
supply without degrading the performance of the
receivers. In fact, the additional RF filtering in
the distribution module actually improves the
already outstanding selectivity of the receivers.

RF Multi
Professional Sound
Corporation has designed and built a new radio mic
antenna distribution amplifier. The new PSC RF
Multi is a portable, wide bandwidth, RF
multicoupler designed to be used with all wireless
receivers. This new distribution amplifier is a
single input, four output device covering the
frequencies from 50 to 750 Mhz. It is powered from
two 9 volt batteries or from an external source of
12 to 24 Vdc. Alkaline batteries provide more than
20 hours of operation. All input and output
connectors are chassis mount BNC's. The PSC RF
Multi has a low noise figure of 2.8dB and offers
a typical isolation factor of 24 to 28 dB between
receivers. Together these figures ensure that your
wireless will perform to the highest standards.

RF MultiMax!
The new RF MultiMax! from
Professional Sound Corporation offers unmatched
flexibility for antenna splitting to wireless
receivers.
The RF MultiMax! is built with six
independent splitters that can be connected in a
host of different ways. First, it contains two, 1 x
4 passive splitter/combiners that can be used to
either combine up to four antennas or split one
antenna four ways. Secondly, the RF MultiMax!
contains four, separate, active 1 x 8 splitters that
can be used for splitting antenna feeds to
wireless. When used in various combinations, these
six sections and the combined 46 BNC connectors,
allow for some very flexible RF routing solutions.
In addition, the RF MultiMax! operates
wide-band from 450Mhz to 900Mhz so it will work with
all UHF wireless without limitations. The new PSC
RF MultiMax! Operates with a quiet noise
floor of only 2.8dB and provides a typical isolation
factor of 24 to 28dB between radio receivers.
Designed to operate both on location and in-house,
the RF MultiMax! can be powered from either
AC (100 to 240Vac) or DC (10 to 18Vdc).

UHF Log Periodic Antenna
The PSC UHF Log Periodic Antenna will
provide the users of UHF wireless microphones a
simple and elegant antenna solution for field use.
This new antenna from PSC provides coverage from
450MHz to 900MHz with an average gain of 4.5dB
over that of a dipole antenna. Because this
antenna covers such a wide band of frequencies,
you won't have to worry about picking your UHF
frequencies within a limited band. The PSC UHF
Log Periodic Antenna is small, compact and
lightweight. It includes an industry standard BNC
connector and is finished in an unobtrusive matte
black paint. Mounting is accomplished via an
industry standard 3/8"-16 thread.

End Fed Half Wave Antenna
The PSC End Fed Half Wave Antenna provides
an ideal solution for users of wireless systems.
This VHF Half Wave antenna will provide greater
range than quarter wave whips commonly supplied
with wireless systems. The omnidirectional polar
pattern of this antenna allows easy setup and
great performance without the need to keep the
antenna "aimed" at the transmitters thus, this
antenna is ideal for portable field applications
and fixed installations such as theaters and
churches. Unlike competitive omnidirectional
antennas, the PSC Half Wave has no
protruding side elements that require additional
installation space. This antenna is built from
tough anodized 60661-T6 aluminum and tough
composite materials. It is available on
frequencies from 160Mhz to 208Mhz.

RF Linear Amplifier
The Professional Sound Corporation RF Linear
Amplifier has been designed to work with most
wireless transmitters used in the television and
film industries. It operates over the wide
frequency range of 50-950MHz making it ideal for
nearly all frequencies through VHF. The
Professional Sound Corporation RF Linear
Amplifier will provide a 300mW output signal
from any 50 mW input signal. This device is
suitable for driving remotely mounted transmit
antennas from most commercially available wireless
transmitters. The PSC RF Linear Amplifier
will allow RF transmission of audio, time code or
other data reliably over great distances. It will
typically provide an increase in distance of two
to three times that of a transmitter used alone.
