Lectrosonics sets
a new standard for size, power, reliability and
functionality with the ultra miniature SM
transmitter. Not much bigger than two AA batteries,
the 100 mW SM packs all user controls onto an easy
to operate control panel that includes an LCD, four
membrane switches for adjusting operating frequency
and modulation level, plus both modulation and power
indicators.
The switches can also be used to set compatibility
modes, allowing the SM to work with all of
Lectrosonics Digital Hybrid Wireless receivers, plus
Lectrosonics 200 Series and 100 Series analog
products (and even analog receivers from some other
manufacturers), and Lectrosonics IFB systems.
Switching power supplies throughout the design
allows nearly six hours of operation using a single
AA lithium battery, or 4.5 hours with a rechargeable
2500 mAh NiMH battery. Even an alkaline AA will run
for about 1.5 hours. |

MM400A Miniature Transmitter
Digital Hybrid Wireless™ is a revolutionary new
design that combines 24-bit digital audio with an
analog FM radio link to provide outstanding audio
quality and the extended operating range of the best
analog wireless systems. The design overcomes
channel noise in a dramatically new way, digitally
encoding the audio bitstream in the transmitter and
decoding it in the receiver, yet sending the encoded
information via an analog FM wireless link. This
proprietary DSP algorithm eliminates a compandor
circuit and its artifacts, and preserves the RF
spectral footprint of analog FM designs to simplify
multi-channel coordination with exisiting analog
wireless systems.

UCR411 Digital Hybrid Receiver & UM400A Transmitter
The UCR411 receiver provides professional
performance and a versatile feature set in a compact
design for field and location production. All
settings are made from the front panel with a
powerful LCD interface, making the unit ideal for
use in Quad Paks, on sound carts, in portable bags
and in rack mount multi-couplers. To alleviate
interference problems in an increasingly congested
RF spectrum, an RF spectrum analyzer is built into
the receiver. The receiver tunes across its 25.6 MHz
tuning range and records RF activity with markers on
the LCD screen. Finding clear operating frequencies
is a quick, simple process. The UCR411 is compatible
with all 400 Series Lectrosonics wireless
transmitters and can be powered with internal 9V
batteries or external DC.
The UM400 belt-pack transmitter implements the
latest digital/analog hybrid technique in a classic
Lectro belt-pack transmitter. A 5-pin input jack
provides taps for low impedance dynamic mics,
electret lavalier mics with positive or negative
bias and line level inputs. Input gain is adjustable
over a 43 dB range to perfectly match the audio
input level for optimum modulation, minimum
distortion and maximum signal to noise ratio. Input
levels are accurately indicated by two LEDs on the
control panel.

performance. The LCD display provides a
full-information display and automatic RF site
scanning to locate clear operating frequencies. The
UCR211 is compatible with all 200 Series
Lectrosonics wireless transmitters.
The UM200C transmitter is a high performance
synthesized UHF design that offers the frequency
agility needed to alleviate interference and
frequency coordination problems in travelling
applications. Interference caused by television
broadcasts and other radio equipment can easily be
avoided with 256 available frequencies selected in
100kHz steps with two rotary switches on the side
panel.
The UM250C is a 250 mW synthesized UHF transmitter
with a versatile feature set to meet the need for
extended operating range with a variety of
microphones and other audio equipment. The high
output power is especially useful for special
applications, for example, configuring an audio
“relay” for long range coverage on a golf course, or
to feed program audio to a remote speaker tower in a
large outdoor sound system. The unit is compatible
with all 200 Series Lectrosonics receivers.
The UT200C is a hand-held microphone/transmitter
compatible with all 200 Series wireless microphone
receivers. A cardioid electret microphone capsule is
integrated with a proprietary preamp circuit board
with tone controls to match the tonal quality to
specific needs, and a variable attenuator control
for high SPL levels. The housing is constructed of
durable PVC, machined to a natural, comfortable
shape. Internal mechanical parts are built from
machined brass and aluminum. The overall assembly is
extremely rugged for heavy use in abusive
environments. The antenna is an internal dipole type
utilizing copper traces on the printed circuit
boards as the active antenna elements. |

CR187 / M187 / H187 Combo
The
CR187 is a compact VHF wireless microphone receiver
designed for use on video cameras or in portable
“bag” systems used in field production and location
recording. The unique double conversion, narrowband
design utilizes a 6-pole helical resonator front-end
filter section to provide unmatched selectivity and
allow very close channel spacing. Exclusive
UNICHANNEL™ crystal filters used in the IF stage
provide extremely high selectivity, making the unit
an ideal choice for unpredictable ENG applications.
The M187 transmitter continues what has become a
tradition in the broadcast and professional sound
industries. Renowned for its ruggedness and
reliability, the M187 justly defines the standard
for a professional grade belt-pack transmitter.
The H187 plug-on transmitter adapts microphones with
XLR connectors to wireless operation. The
spring-loaded, rotating input coupler is easy to
operate, yet provides a firm, noise-free fit with a
wide variety of different microphones. The
transmitter housing and the body of the attached
microphone form an efficient dipole antenna
configuration, with an insulator between the input
coupler and the lower section of the transmitter
housing separating the two halves of the antenna.
