Electro-Voice®
Plasma P1
The Electro-Voice® Plasma P1 integrates premium EV
transducers with high-power Class-H amplification
and signal processing to provide an outstanding
combination of sonic detail, SPL, and ease of use. A
EVX155 15" LF transducer uses a Kevlar®-reinforced
cone with RMD® driven by a 4" voice coil for
well-defined transient response, while maintaining
articulate vocals at all SPLs. A proprietary ND6
compression driver with a 3" diaphragm and 1.4" exit
provides extended HF response with very low
distortion. A Class-H two-channel amplifier requires
no fans for quiet operation, low maintenance, and
long-term reliability. Coupled with signal
processing for linear acoustic response and
unobtrusive protection, the amplifier delivers the
power required for high-level reinforcement. Dynamic
linearity is another benefit of amplifiers designed
for system integration with large-format transducer
motors.
L-track is embedded into the Plasma P1 to provide
convenient multi-axis suspension and attachment
points for an optional suspension arm. The very
compact multi-angle enclosure can be used either in
monitor position (in left and right configurations)
or arrayed.
The Plasma P1 is acoustically designed for
uniform coverage in both horizontal and vertical
planes adding to its versatility. The P1's
applications are for where the highest quality sound
is required: theater, A/V, stage monitoring, and
sound reinforcement. |

SRM 350
2-Way Active Loudspeaker System
Studio-Quality Sound in a World of Honky, Disgusting
PA Speakers.
The SRM350 brings studio-monitor sound quality
to a world inundated with big, inefficient PA
speakers. This 2-way bi-amplified active loudspeaker
easily out-performs the competitions’ larger active
models thanks to the combined efforts of the Mackie
Active Engineering and world-class EAW Loudspeaker
Design teams. With innovative Dynamic Bass Boost for
full sound at all volume levels, a Contour control
for precision response, and — most importantly —
award-winning Mackie Active speaker design, the
SRM350 is in a class all its own.

Mackie
SRM 450
Precision 2-way, bi-amplified active PA speaker.
Before you read this, press your mental RESET
button.
Forget about what other small PA speakers sound
like. Especially forget what so-called "powered"
speakers sound like. The active SRM450 is that
different.
It has tight, steel-fisted bass to below 55Hz and
detailed, articulate treble out to 20,000Hz.
Midrange is warm, natural, and free from
ear-fatiguing harshness. The SRM450 has
astonishingly wide dispersion that lets your whole
audience hear clearly, whether they're in the front,
back, or way out on the sides of the room.
And above all, the SRM450 cranks! Without a hint of
distortion, it effortlessly achieves sound pressure
levels that would melt conventional speakers into a
pile of molten slag. |

Mackie
C-300
Huge Power Handling – Superb Dispersion
The C300 (Speakon®) and the C300i (1/4
inch) uses the same basic transducers as the
active SRM450 – with two differences.
TheC300/C300i's 1.75-inch high frequency compression
driver uses a composite mylar diaphragm; the12-inch
low frequency transducer incorporates a 3-inch
Inside/Outside temperature- resistant voice coil.
Both of these compensate for the fact that the
speaker system must be able to handle a wide range
of external power inputs (including our mega-powered
PPM808S or PPM808M).
The C300/C300i uses the same studio-quality horn
assembly with multi-cell aperture horn throat and
large format exponential/conical high-frequency horn
mouth for superb dispersion. This means everyone in
your audience hears clearly... not just the people
in the middle between the speakers.
And like the SRM450, the C300/C300i has the same
asymmetrical trapezoidal cabinet for minimum
internal resonance and the ability to recline for
floor monitor use. And the same weight-balanced
enclosure with dual side handles and top handle,
built-in pole mount and ten built-in hanging points.
But instead of internal amplification, the
C300/C300i has a Low-Impedance Compensated Crossover
(LICC) with full built-in transducer protection and
Speakon® or TS(Tip-Sleeve) inputs that just
beg to be energized to shock volumes with a PPM
mixer or FR Series power amplifier.

Tannoy
Reveal Active Monitor
For
those on a budget, the Reveal provides a high
quality monitor with real high-end features. The
distinctive cabinet has been designed to offer
increased structural integrity and reduced HF
diffraction effects. Its unique 1 ¼" thick contoured
MDF baffle provides a solid foundation for drive
unit mounting as well as increasing overall
stiffness. This means a clean and articulate
performance for whatever project you have in mind.
Reveal's drive units include a 1" soft dome tweeter
and 6 1/2" bass unit manufactured in-house by Tannoy,
ensuring quality and consistency in use. Both units
are also magnetically shielded, so the Reveal can be
positioned close to video monitors if desired. High
power handling capability coupled with above average
sensitivity means that Reveal can produce high SPL's
without distortion. There is no better value on the
market today. |

Tannoy
Proto-J Nearfield
The Proto-J is the latest playback monitor
from Tannoy. It has an extremely detailed, dynamic
sound with a wide, flat frequency response - all of
which are essential for monitoring with reliable
accuracy. The 3/4" soft dome HF unit is seamlessly
matched to a 6.5" long throw bass unit by the
precision low-loss crossover network. The drive
units are discretely mounted on a 3/4" MDF baffle.
The front edges of the vented enclosure are
chamfered to reduce high frequency diffraction. The
back panel features two 5 way binding post inputs
and integral inserts to accommodate OmniMount™ 20.0
(formerly 50) Series wall brackets that allows wall
mounting for easy and flexible 5.1 surround sound
installs. Proto-J is designed to compliment the
Tannoy PS 110B 5.1 Subwoofer as a complete package. |

ISA Series
Designed as a cost-effective solution specifically
for sound contractors, the ISA Series features seven
models including four low impedance models (ISA 280,
ISA 450, ISA 750, ISA 1350) rated for 2-ohm
operation, and three "Ti" versions with isolated 25,
70 and 100 volt outputs for distributed audio
systems (ISA 300Ti, ISA 500Ti, ISA 800Ti). Versatile
loading options and a comprehensive feature set make
the ISA Series a rugged, cost-effective power
solution for any permanently installed sound system.
Unique among distributed sound power amplifiers, the
"Ti" versions will drive 8- or 4-ohm loads and a
distributed system on the same channel
simultaneously. This enables a contractor to reduce
the number of required amplifier channels by
allowing a limited number of distributed speakers to
be attached to the same amp as is powering the main
sound system.
Housed in a rugged 3-U chassis, all seven models
feature rear panel gain controls for tamper
resistant operation with 2 dB detents for quick and
repeatable settings. Inputs include both XLR and
detachable Euro-style connectors. Outputs feature
covered barrier strip connectors for safety agency
compliance, and for added versatility, a DataPort V2
(Version 2) terminated with an HD-15 connector is
provided for use with DPV2-compatible signal
processing accessories such as the XC-3 Crossover,
SF-3 Subwoofer Filter, LF-3 Low Frequency Filter and
the DSP-3 with external power supply.
Selectable high-pass filters are included to protect
speakers and prevent speaker transformer saturation
with minimal effect on program material. The ISA
Series provide additional protection circuitry
including DC, infrasonic, thermal overload, RF and
short circuit protection.
On the ISA 750 and ISA 800Ti, class H complementary
bipolar output circuitry increases system efficiency
by reducing AC power draw and waste heat by 40%.
Cooling is accomplished via an automatic variable
speed fan, which pulls air from back to front.
