Rycote Windshields
Designed to provide significant improvement in exterior wind attenuation. Manufactured from flexible grey plastic netting tube with a screening material attached by a special process, providing light weight, strength and durability. Offers wind protection without unnecessary high frequency roll-off. Twist and turn locking end caps provide easy, rattle free and secure fastening. Unique slide-on/slide-off system allows easy removal of the microphone and suspension. Available for over 70 different microphone models including stereo microphone pairs and remote capsule microphones.

Rycote Windjammers
The most effective cover providing 10-12dB extra protection over a standard windshield. Made from specially designed and manufactured screening materials with virtually no adverse effect on sound level or quality. Two locking zip fasteners allow snug and easy fitting and they are available in sizes to fit all windshields and softies.

Rycote Softies
Available as a combined windshield and shockmount (70mm diameter) performing as well as a standard windshield. The Softie windshield alone provides a fast, flexible and cost effective solution for ENG on-camera microphones. Constructed of an acoustic foam base covered by a specially designed synthetic fur fabric together with a separate shockmount with its own bracket and either a pistol grip handle or boom adapter. It's available in a large range of sizes to fit most popular microphones.

Mini Windjammer
A Mini Windjammer is simple lined fur cover to fit over the microphone directly or its foam gag. They are used on and off of camcorders to provide a cheap and effective protection against wind noise.

Rycote Lavaliere Windjammers
The Rycote Lavaliere Windjammer (Furry) is designed to be used on Lavaliere microphones worn on the outside of clothing. The fur covering is manufactured so that the opening can be stretched to accommodate the microphone and fit snugly around the cable. To ensure a proper fit, removable foam inserts, designed to hold many popular sized Lavaliere microphones, are provided and to also provide the air space required to make the Windjammer effective. In some instances it may be preferred to use the windscreen that comes with the Lavaliere microphone, which can also be accommodated.

Rycote Short Hair Softies
Specifically designed for camera mounted mics. The exterior offers a low profile and more compact design. Utilizes closely cropped synthetic fur that allows for camera mounted lighting without unnecessary shadows. Accommodates Sony BVW, DNW-90SNP, BVP5 and BVP7 cameras.

Lightwave Super-Screen
Lightwave Super-Screen is a complete zeppelin style of windscreen system, which provides protection against wind noise in winds in excess of 40 mph, whilst at the same time giving clear sound to the microphone.
The Superscreen is incredibility robust under the most testing conditions. It uses a 4-point bayonet locking system to hold the front & rear sections together. The tubes and end caps are all thermo-welded together, and hence no rings or spines are required as in conventional zeppelin windscreen designs.

Lightwave Equalizer
Equalizer is a low cost version of the Lightwave Miniscreen and features the Mini's patented hollow shell interior and fabric mesh design. Equalizer uses the same type of front and rear mic gripping disk system, made from a newly developed soft polymer that will hold varying diameter mics in the same size tube. The Equalizer though does not allow for variable addition of windscreen zippered covers.

Light Wave Mini Screen
The Miniscreen is a high performance fabric/mesh slip-on windscreen for motion picture and video. It is far superior to the common foam sock and the poor imitation Miniscreen copies that do not have our patented dead air space design in a small slip on screen. It offers far higher wind protection, along with a sweetened mid-range (to pull in clear dialogue).

Schoeps Windscreen
Acoustic foam windscreen, especially for use with omnidirectional microphones in wind. Usable as a low-cost alternative to popscreens or when greater efficiency is needed. With pressure-gradient transducers it can be used in light wind only, but it offers the advantage that its influence on sound and polar pattern is minimal, especially at low frequencies.

WindTech Windscreens
Since 1976 WindTech has manufactured the highest quality American made microphone windscreens on the market. They are available in 25 brilliant colors, and a wide variety of shapes and sizes to fit most popular microphones. Using a proprietary non-heat manufacturing process, our windscreens are constructed from a specially developed hypo-allergenic, open-cell acoustical foam called SonicFoam. The use of SonicFoam permits the free passage of sound energy without altering the microphone's frequency response. While remaining acoustically transparent, our windscreens are engineered to reduce wind velocity which eliminates wind noise, pop noises and breath sounds.

Lightwave Minimount Microphone Mount System
The Minimount is a low profile and lightweight microphone mount, with the top cradle section constructed of anodized Aluminum. The isolation design of the Minimount product line is modeled after our full sized cradle mount. This highly tuned V4 stable isolation platforms give a microphone float without 'flopping' around, with the neoprene rubber 'legs' securely fixed to the plates without the need for glue.

PSC Universal Shockmounts
The Professional Sound Corporation Universal Shock Mounts were designed to provide stable and noise free handling for a wide variety of microphones. These shock mounts feature a compact, concise design. They are constructed of lightweight aircraft aluminum and have a non-reflective black anodize finish. The two suspension bands are custom made to our own specifications and provide a high degree of isolation from handling noise. The PSC Universal Shock Mounts are available in two sizes: Small 3" (76mm) and Large 6" (152mm). Both sizes will accept microphones with diameters up to 1.25" (32mm) ensuring that nearly any microphone may be utilized and feature industry standard 3/8" x 16 threads allowing these shock mounts to be used with any boompole.

Rycote Modular Suspensions
The Modular Suspension combines all the successful elements of the 4-point suspension with a high precision modular frame resulting in a lightweight effective suspension that will fit a wide range of microphones.
•Equipped with both a boom adaptor and a pistol grip handle and a range of clips and O-rings to provide a custom fit. The microphone clips supplied allow you to hold microphones with 19/20mm, 21/22mm, 24/25mm diameters and Sennheiser MKH mics too.

Rycote XLR Holder

The new XLR Holder one of the simplest and most useful little products you’ll ever come across, solving the eternal problem of how to attach your XLR connectors when using a boom pole or mic stand. From January ’03 an XLR Holder will be included, at no extra cost, with each Modular Suspension. Manufactured from flexible HytrelTM, the holder provides a quick, noise free, reliable clamp for the XLR. The boom fixing has a custom hexagonal core to mate with the Rycote Boom Adaptor – so you set the rotational location of the clamp precisely. If you’re not using a Rycote adaptor, no problem, just turn the Holder over and it still provides a firm fitting between the pole and mount.
