KU 100
The KU 100 dummy head is a binaural stereo
microphone. It resembles the human head and has two
microphone capsules built into the ears. When
listening through high-quality headphones it gives
the illusion of being right at the scene of the
acoustic events.
When using the KU 100 dummy head, the binaural
stereo experience moves the listener into the scene
of the original performance, in contrast to other
space-related recording techniques, where the
acoustic event is moved to the listener.
The dummy head is also used in many industrial
applications as a measuring device, for example in
acoustic research. The KU 100 can be operated with
typical 48 V phantom powering, or from an external
power supply unit, or from the built-in battery.
At the bottom of the unit is a switch for the
different power supply modes, as well as connectors
for balanced and unbalanced output signals. Inside
the head are additional switches for 10 dB
attenuation and the high-pass filter.

Multi-Pattern Stereo Microphone DS 60
The DS 60 is very versatile in many
different recording situations. Instead of being
divided into two parts, the capsules are fixed at 90
degreeds to each other. The microphone consists of a
solid-brass body, finished in black chromium and
gold plated mesh. During an X-Y recording, simply
turn the microphone and direct the engraved X-Y sign
towards the centre of the sound field. For M-S
recording, there is an engraved M-S sign to be used
in the same way. The required microphone pattern is
chosen at the console. The pre-amplifier, which is
extremely quiet, has four output channels, one for
each cardioid membrane, connected via a 9 pin Lemo
plug. Each capsule provides 180 degreeds coincident
stereo. The operator decides how to use the signals,
either cardioid, figure of eight, omni-directional,
X-Y or M-S patterns or Blumlein. The microphone is
connected by a special cable consisting of a 9 pin
Lemo at the microphone end and a four way splitter
terminating in 3-pin XLR's to the console. It is a
natural choice for the concert hall yet just as well
suited for church organs
•Polar
pattern: Multipattern
•SPL:126 dB

Stereo MS2 and MS8 Microphone
Pearl MS 2 and MS 8 is specially made for MS
recording of TV, Video and Film production. The
microphone is very light, an advantage for using on
a pole. This microphone is available in many
versions such as different sensitivities. In MS 2
model the M and S signals are combined by the
internal matrix to produce. Left and Right outputs.
In the MS 8 the M and S channels are output
independently for external processing -this may be
recorded directly and mixed subsequently in an MS
matrix to provide variable stereo width.,They are
very resistant against bad environment as moisture,
dust, change in the temperature etc.

output independently for external processing. The
microphone requires phantom power and there is no
need for any extra units. The amplifier provides low
noise and transformerless output.

Neumann
GFM 132
The GFM 132 is a boundary layer microphone. Through
computer simulation Neumann optimized the design to
be free of any comb filter effects due to
reflections, typical of other such microphones. The
smooth frequency response for all angles of
incidence exhibits a rise in the upper frequency
range. This assures that all sound sources, even
distant ones, will be recorded with clarity and
presence.
Therefore, typical applications are for live
recordings, such as in the orchestra pit of opera
houses, theaters, and on stage.
The back of the microphone has non-slip pads for its
use in a horizontal or inclined position, and holes
for wall suspension. It is supplied with a wooden
case and a wind screen.

M 149 Tube
The M 149 Tube is a variable dual-diaphragm
microphone. The K 49 capsule, well-known from the
legendary U 47 and M 49 microphone, is followed by a
tube functioning as an impedance converter. In
contrast to earlier concepts, utilizing a
transformer, the tube is complemented with a
transformerless output circuit design. The M 149
Tube can thus feed long microphone cables without
any coloration.
Two slide switches are located below the large,
acoustically very open headgrille. The switch at the
front allows selection one of nine directional
patterns.
The slide switch at the rear operates a seven-step
high pass filter. It allows a very fine adjustment
of the cut-off.

M 147 Tube
The M 147 Tube is a vacuum tube condenser microphone
with cardioid characteristic. At the heart of this
microphone is the K 47 dual diaphragm capsule,
inherited from this model's now legendary
predecessors, the U 47 and the M 49.
Following the capsule is a tube that functions as an
impedance converter. The next stage is an efficient,
transformerless output circuit, that guarantees an
extremely low self-noise level. Note: This
innovative combination of current tube technology
with the most advanced solid-state circuitry was
decisive in awarding the 1997 TEC Award to the
related M 149 Tube mic.

TLM 50 S
The TLM 50 is a studio microphone with an unusual
omnidirectional characteristic. Its construction is
based on the legendary M 50, which was used for most
of the Beatles recordings. The capsule is mounted
flush into the surface of a sphere.
This unique design gives the microphone a smooth
rise in frequency response and an increased
directivity in the upper frequency range. There the
directional characteristic is almost comparable to a
pressure gradient microphone. In the lower audio
spectrum it performs more as a pressure transducer
with a linear response down to the lowest
frequencies. It is supplied with a swivel mount
cable and an auditorium hanger.

features a 10dB pad and a LF roll-off switch. This
is the first microphone to achieve remote control of

maximum SPL of 117dB (>0.5% THD) without
preattenuation and 127dB (>0.5% THD) with
preattenuation. Total dynamic range is 115dB.

AKG
C414B-ULS
A preferred choice for critical recording or
reinforcement of vocals, piano, percussion and other
instruments. Four selectable polar patterns for
maximum versatility. Two bass filter settings
suppress unwanted low frequency components.
Switchable 10dB or 20dB internal preattenuation
pads. Low self-noise and high overload combine for a
remarkably wide 126dB dynamic range that is well in
excess of digital media capabilities. Each
microphone includes a stand adapter, windscreen and
individually tested frequency response curve.
